Forecast VS. Prediction

It´s been said that it´s impossible to forecast events that happen in the world, that we simply do not have the capacity to do so, or that it is a product of chaos that governs us; and the only thing that we have left is to inform ourselves about what happens, and wait for our mortal end. The art of forecasting is not a question of prediction or guesswork, but a matter of scientific method that is applied to science in general; from Meteorology to Physics and Economy.
