Brunelleschi: the Italian Renaissance & the Florence Cathedral
July 5, 2014, Los Angeles. A lecture given by Alexandra Phillips. In 1432, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake until there was nothing left of her physical body. It was this action that sparked the modern day beginnings of the fight of the true idea of mankind against the satanic Oligarchy. It was this fight which brought us to this day of the July 4th of our independence. 80% of Americans want Obama impeached and 80% of the world has come to the defense of Argentina in the death sentence dealt by the US Supreme Court. One thousand US troops are now in Iraq. Joan of Arc and the thousands of US soldiers who gave their lives for the American Revolution did so because they were convinced that there was a higher identity towards which mankind must strive.
This true identity of man is found in today's modern day statesman Lyndon LaRouche, who has created the potential for a second, global Renaissance. To appreciate where his leadership will take us, it is necessary, as he has repeatedly mentioned, to investigate another such personality.
Filippo Brunelleschi gave humanity ot art, and he courageously fought popular opinion tooth and nail to build the biggest and most beautiful cathedral dome ever, showing mankind in it's true greatness, all in the face of a Venetian imposed terror. he did so by destroying the Euclidean/Aristolelian science that had been holding mankind back since the time of ancient Greece.
